The Why Wall
All the question you would never ask !
Why the name COREUM ?
COREUM symbolize the radiance of core values and businesses. CORE is the central element of everything, and UM is a Latin suffix that represent scientific strictness and neutrality. Through risk management approach, COREUM is the partner for organization willing to implement continual improvement on their process together with social and environmental impacts on their ecosystem.
Why the two circles in the logo ?
Our logo represent collaboration, linkage, how we see our way to provide consulting services by working in close relation with our clients, but also by providing a transversal and collaborative framework inside the organization and with external stakeholders. The circle is symbol of unity, completeness, life and knowledge. By linking circles we believe that sustainable performance comes from cooperation over competition.
Why Africa ?
COREUM is born in Africa when its founder decided to create a new brand and take consulting services to the next level. We have long term partners in Morocco, Cameroun and Kenya, and we are constantly developing our network though collaboration with personalities that share our ethics, values and impact-oriented mindset.
Why decentralization ?
Our collective impact grows with our ability to be both active in major European and African financial centres. From South to North, we face development challenges along local public and private organizations. Thus, we didn’t go for a big ivory tower in Paris, but for a decentralized network of partners in Grenoble, Paris, Geneva, Rabat, Douala and Nairobi, so on. All collaborating through a complete set up of digital tools and benevolent posture.
Why risk management ?
In the last decades, risk management proved to be relevant as both strategic and operational approach for organizations to face a fast-changing world. International regulators have embarked risk management as core of the business compliance : best practices and standard frameworks has been set to foster implementation and efficiency in our connected economies, from public sector to corporates and civil society. Financial sector has been highly contributive to risk management improvement, beside ups and downs we all know. Today it appears risk management serves global performance of all organizations, as a trigger to innovate for sustainable development goals and transform financial sector.
